Thursday. I finally got the 5 gallons of my modified PVC glaze sort of opaque. Added some Mt. St. Helens ash. Tested in over dirt and #5 which I don't know what it is. I went to Spectra Gallery today to look at the exhibit in a way I could not opening day. It is mostly black paint on ripped card board. .The context of the show is as important as the content for me after being censored by a gallery because they didn't like the way the back of the painting was finished off. Ripped up card board is special.

WOW! I think we have had a break through at cone 5. I am getting very good results with the dirt glaze. It's not completely the same but still good. I am getting ready to take a load to Moses Lake

Did a bisque fire today. Also loading up pots for Wenaha Gallery in Dayton. Some of these are the nicest pots I have ever made. The cone 8 dirt glaze with PVC over it is marvelous and the cone 5 ve
