What a season. I am featured at Wenaha Gallery in Dayton this month as a potter, Hedges Cellars winery as a painter and will deliver pots to Moses Lake before this weekend. Then, nothing. I will deliver the 100+ soup bowls to the Safe Harbor and then I might as well start next years. I plan on making the new ones match and have handles and 3-D logos. I will fire to cone 5 and try to use up some of my excess glazes like the blue and the one that decided to come out tan. It seems to have some wood ash in it but who knows. I have about 12, 5 gallon buckets of glazes and should stop making new experimental ones & start using the existing ones up. Also I plan on starting to make matching cups from now on. My picture from the ad about the Wenaha show looks random and un-cohesive. The pictures I see on the internet seem more cohesive. I hope the current kiln load of cone 8 glaze looks as good as the last one. Thanks.
