Loaded the kiln today.

Loaded kiln today for cone 5. I will re-glaze with white and fire to cone 1 if necessary. It amazes me that the old standby PVC isn't working. I think I will join some of the 6 glazes together and make some borate/clay/silica glaze. A guy we met today has some volcanic ash that he wants to give me. I told him I would take it even though I don't need it. It fires the same as dirt or Othello clay. in a glaze. We have been accepted to hang art at the Academy of Children's Theatre show next week end. I sent the word out to the group and have had limited response yet. We'll see.
