Finished another wine still life today. It is on a 12" x 12" beveled gallery wrap. It is on my IG site. Also made a bunch of handles for pots and gessoed some panels. I will start a large still life with really strong light. We bought three bottles of wine from the winery where the paintings will hang at the end of next month. I am finally getting rid of the black sand in the pots. What a debacle. I will add 1/2 as much white sand. I think I will also pass the Othello slurry through the 80 mesh screen too. I need to get smoother pots with less sharp things poking out.
